Aim to be 1% Better Every Day – Develop a Positive Winning Attitude

If you have the right attitude, the right mindset, then everything else about trading will be relatively easy, even simple and certainly a lot more fun.

I am creating this website with the intention to create a construct, a framework of reference, in order to develop and maintain consistent practices and build discipline. To remind myself that trading is a marathon and not a sprint. This is my personal blog/diary of thoughts and ideas, if you have found your way here, hope you may find it helpful.

Your true self is saying to you today:

You have so much in your life to be thankful for because of the efforts & consistency of your past self. Every day you are strengthening your weaknesses, and it’s only a matter of time before you hit the next level of your life. Focus on what you can control, and trust the rest to fall into place for you.

You want to grow for the sake of growth itself. When you make life about personal growth, about your evolution, everything else becomes nothing more than the vehicle for your growth. So when everything else becomes a vehicle for your growth, life becomes so much more exciting. And you are constantly evolving yourself. Your motivation has gone from extrinsic to intrinsic, because I’m growing, this is me, and this is whom I’m destined to become. Supercharge your personal growth.

When you are already consciously moving yourself to that next level through study, through collaboration, through attending seminars, through meditation, to exploring the various practices of personal growth you are no longer growing through suffering – your growing through insight or acquired meaning.

You can grow through pain or through insight. Your job as a human being is to move yourself to levels of existence where you grow through insight, and when that happens that cycle is incredible. You start accelerating upwards, everything else around you, your love, your business, your relationships, your health all magnifies – and that is the level of self-actualization.

The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play – his labour and his leisure – his mind and his body – his information and his recreation – his life and his religion. He hardly knows which is which, he simply peruses his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both. That describes self-actualization.

The zone is a state of mind where there is absolutely no sign of fear, and you act and react instinctively. You are in the moment and just doing it. Whatever you do turns out to be exactly what needed to be done. The Zone is a state of mind you find yourself in that is inherently creative. Mark Douglas, Trading in the Zone.

Psycho-Cybernetics
Success and the self-image.
A person cannot rise above how he sees himself.
Our future is controlled by a mental blueprint we have inside our subconscious mind and it dictates where we think we belong.

If you want to get more clients and make more money, then you need to expand your self-image before you can have them. Trying to achieve before expanding your self-image, doesn’t lead to lasting positive change.

With identity-based habits, the focus is on who you wish to become. Does this behaviour help me become the type of person I wish to be? Does this habit case a vote for or against my desired identity?

Creating a belief that “I am a consistent winner” is the primary objective. The consistency you seek is in your mind, not in the markets. Don’t use your energy to worry. Use your energy to believe.

What got you here won’t get you there. Every next level of your life will require a different you. Am I willing to give-up what I’ve got in order to have something better? Don’t think you already know what you have to do, and you know how to do it.

What’s stopping you? The moment you have arrived is the perfect time to start out again.

Happiness comes when your future is bigger than your past. In order for your future to be bigger than your past, you must move beyond it. You must stop living in your past. Pull motivation.

99% of trading success is just learning how to stay out of trouble.

I believe that even though you cannot force or will yourself into a zone, you can set up the kind of mental conditions that are most conducive to experiencing the zone. By developing a positive winning attitude. I define a winning attitude as expecting a positive result from your efforts, with an acceptance of whatever results you get are a perfect reflection of your level of development and what you need to learn to do better.
